Human Dog Harmony — Terms of Service

By booking services, using this website, or participating in training sessions, you agree to the following terms. Human Dog Harmony provides educational, relationship-centered dog-training services designed to support both guardians and their dogs.
Training Services

All training uses positive, science-based methods.

You acknowledge that behavior cannot be guaranteed, as each dog is an individual.

Safety for you, your dog, and your trainer is essential; owners must follow guidelines during all sessions.

You are responsible for your dog at all times during sessions (in-person or virtual).

You understand and agree that:

Participation in dog training carries inherent risks, including injury to people, animals, or property
-
You assume all responsibility for your dog’s behavior before, during, and after training
-
HDH is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from client actions, dog behavior, environmental conditions, or unforeseen incidents

Clients agree to indemnify and hold HDH harmless from claims arising from participation in Services.
Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

Some programs may require full payment in advance.
Well-Being & Safety
We may discontinue or pause training if a dog is ill, in pain, overly stressed, or exhibiting behavior that requires veterinary or behavioral intervention.
Educational Content
All materials, handouts, videos, and written guides remain the intellectual property of Human Dog Harmony unless otherwise attributed or cited.
Communication
By providing your email or phone number, you consent to receive service-related messages.
Cancellations

24+ hours notice: full reschedule or refund

Less than 24 hours: session fee may be forfeited

No-shows: non-refundable
🐾 Packages & Programs

Multisession packages must be used within the time window stated at purchase.

Refunds are not available for unused package sessions once the program has started, but credits may be available at HDH’s discretion.
💳 Refunds
Refunds (when eligible) are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Trainer-Initiated Cancellations
If HDH must cancel for any reason, clients may choose:

A rescheduled session

A credit

A full refund for that session
Package Expiration
Training packages expire 6 months from purchase unless otherwise indicated.
Unused sessions are non-refundable after expiration.
Digital Products & Online Courses
All digital content (PDFs, downloads, videos, courses) is:

Not to be copied, redistributed, or resold without written permission

Workshops, Seminars, Events

Refunds available up to 7 days before the event

Under 7 days → credit may be issued at HDH discretion

Website Use
You agree not to:

Use the site for unlawful or abusive purposes

Scrape or extract data without permission

Interfere with functionality, security, or accessibility
We reserve the right to block or restrict site access for violations.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Eligibility
To use HDH Services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement

Be the legal guardian, owner, or authorized handler of the dog(s) receiving training or consultation
Nature of Services
Human Dog Harmony provides:

Private and group dog training
-
Behavior coaching and education
-
Online/remote consultations
-
Digital content, courses, and informational resources
-
Workshops, community events, and social-learning opportunities
HDH does not provide veterinary, medical, or legal advice. You should consult your veterinarian for health-or medically related concerns.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure training success and safety, clients agree to:

Provide accurate information about their dog’s behavior, health, and history
-
Disclose any bite incidents, aggression, safety concerns, or triggers
-
Follow training recommendations between sessions
-
Maintain compliance with local leash, vaccination, and safety laws
-
Ensure humane, welfare-focused treatment of the dog at all times
Failure to disclose relevant behavioral or medical information may result in termination of services without refund.
